My tranny is acting up when i put it in reverse its perfectly fine and then when i shift it to go ots like it gets stuck in neutral also the check engine light is on. They have told me that its a relay and some have told me that i have to replace the transmission. It has 77k miles on it and ive never abused it. Anybody have any suggestions? Please help

What's the check engine code? Get it checked, this hopefully will answer all your questions.

As Jrfish said, more then likely your problem is related to why the check engine light is on. I have said it a million times and I will say it again, everything in the vehicle works together, so when one sensor or component acts up or fails, whatever signal it sends to the ECU, based on that signal the ECU when send signal to all other components. And if the input signal is messed up, so will the output signal from the ECU. You need to diagnose the code and I am 99.9% positive it will fix your problem.
