Exclamation E-Brake problem

My E-Brake is not working good at all. When I get home and pull it up it stops my car from moving back, but its barely working. Is there any way I can fix this?

Have you tried pulling out the center console and tightening it yet?

you can try driving in reverse at 5-10 mph and using the e-brake to stop that might help tightening it up.

The easiest way to adjust rear drum brakes, is to drive in reverse slowly and use the e-brake to stop. DO it a few times and you should fell your e-brake get tighter and your brake as well. This way you dont overtighten and drag the drums.

Like your title says you don't know what your talking about.

More of a parking brake than an emergency brake IMO.

I wholeheartedly agree. I haven't read any service manual nor owner's manual which refers to it as an emergency brake. It's used far more often as a parking brake.
