issue with my car
there's this problem with my car. i dunno wth it is that's causing this to happen. everytime it gets cold, my car acts up. when you put the key into the ignition and five minutes later you wanna take the key out, the daymn key won't come out. and then my car won't be in park. the P won't light up. so wth is going on? the car has to be in park before you can take the key outta the ignition and i dunno what's causing this. my boy and i took off the part where the shifter is and tried to see what the problem was. we fixed it before but now it's doing the same thing again. help anybody??

Sounds like a bad switch in the gear shifter. It probably can't tell if you're in park, so it will not release the key.
