if anyone can please help...i wus taking the cover off the 03 civic i just purchased and the bolts were on tight. i took off all the bolts except 2 and found that i had cracked the case that the bolt is on ... is there any way i can take this bolt out or do i have to buy a whole new case and filter?

happened to me.. i just said *** it and replaced it with an SRI..

gotta replace it and next time just make sure they're tight enough to keep the box on. no need to torque em on hard.

yeah same thing happened to my 01...just get another case from honda...or from" h and a dot com" if they sell them
