How to empty gas tank?
Alright, someone put motor oil in my car and i've been trying to empty out the gas tank but no luck so far. Anyone know how to empty the gas tank or what to do in this situation. It smokes really bad and shakes at idle.

Tried a siphon hose? And how do you know you have motor oil in the gas? How much?
If you thin it enough with more gas, it'll burn allright. But it'll smoke.
Lastly, you'd have to pull the fuel line and drain it that way.

Drill a hole in it, but I don't think you want to do that. You could pull the line, or drop the tank and drain it. There's gotta be something in the manual about how to drain fuel.
DO NOT try to run it out, you'll have so much **** build up in your engine, injectors, etc... it won't be funny.

Gas tanks usually have a drain bolt/plug at the bottom. Try finding it first. As Boilermaker saids oil will wreck havoc to your filters, injectors, as wells as O2 sensors, and catalytic converter.
Another method you may want to try is to unhook the fuel line in the engine compartment (prior the fuel filter) and put a solvent-safe tubing on the fuel line. Turn on the ignition (don't crank the engine) and let the fuel pump do the work for you. Be EXTREMELY careful with spark when you do this. Have a fire extinguisher on hand just in case.

well the manaul suggests you use a hand pump, hose, and container suitable for fuel and draw the fuel from the tank. You would have to go at it from the top where the fuel pump assembly is. there is no bolt/drain plug on the bottom of the tank.
How did someone put oil in your fuel tank? Wasnt your fuel door closed?

Well too late, as soon as I read the first response i added a couple gallons extra gas and started running. It ran fine for about 3-4 hours then just now it idles really really bad and the check engine light came on. I had my door unlocked and ran in a store for about an hour. Came back and saw my gas cap open, big 2 gallon motor oil container right below it,
and some of the oil on the side of the car.

I have a feeling though with that much oil in the car you will probably need to flush out your fuel system.
Oh man, I don't really know what to tell you about that one but I sympathize for you. That really sucks.. stupid @$$holes always have to mess with other peoples stuff.
Maybe I'd file that as vandalism and claim it on insurance..

The gastank might have an anti-siphoning screen in it. If it does, you can't pump out the tank. But I doubt it. Honda has to be able to empty the tank for service.
You could take the top off from the back seat, remove the fuel sender, and pump it out from there. Just be VERY CAREFUL. No power, no smoking.
