rattling noise in front after parking

I have 05 Honda Civic LX. I have noticed that after I turn off the engine and park the car, I hear a rattling noise coming somewhere from front of the car. The sound resembles two iron rods striking against each other every half a second. The sound continues till about 2 mins. I am not sure what is this sound ?

Some people say it is because of AC while other say that its fan. I am very new to car driving and don't know much about cars. Any help will be appreciated. Do any other people experience this kind of noise after parking ?

This is the exhaust pipes and catalytic converter contracting after you shut the car off. This is completely normal. The exhaust system gets exceptionally hot while driving, when you shut it off, these metal components shrink and thus makes the clinking sounds you hear.

No. It isn't considered a problem really. Almost all cars do this.
