Car Wont Start

About 2 days ago my car goes into the shop b.c my car will not start. When i hold the clutch in and turn the key nothing, no clicking, turning of some sort, nothing. The only thing i hear is something going on with the ECU. Now what i see, The RPM and MPH gauges move, they move all over. And the car isnt even on.

There is power to the car thou. Light work, radio works, ETC. Even thou they worked i tried to jump it to see what would happen, and nothing.

So the guy comes to tow my car the next day and before he puts it on the bed be trys to start the car and it turns on.

The place has the car now and they tell me everyday it was there it started right up with no problem. The guy start they started it all game for 2 days. And even charnged the battery.

When i got my car it started right up no problem. Got home, then my girl went to leave for work so i had to move my car and yet again it would start.

I wanna know how the hell my car starts for a day or 2 for them and not me when i get it back. They tighted my altenator belt up and thats it. IDK but this car is pissing me off.

I have no idea what to do next. Burn the car maybe. IDK

bad ground or starter, bad ground to the starter.... problems like this are impossible to find if a mech can't see it happening.

I have had this problem with every honda I have ever had. Each time it was not enough current to kick the starter relay. I used a helper relay to take the current off the ignition switch and the problem never came back. This on 3 hondas. It was a very intermittent problem. The only way to find out if this IS your problem, next time it won't start, put the car in neutral and bridge the battery and starter wire RIGHT AT THE STARTER. If it kicks, that's your problem. Basically, a lot of current has to go from the battery all the way through the ignition switch and back to the starter. The wires are SMALL. Sometimes the voltage drop is just enough for the starter not to kick. But make sure that all your grounds are tight and clean. This should not be a problem on a new car, though.

take a broomstick and hit the starter with it, and it will start right up... You have a bad starter man. Get that changed out, these are classic symptoms...
