i have an auto, and tonite when i went to back up i looked at the shifting piece with all the gears and they were not lit up (not on the dash, but where the shift **** is connected) i coulda swearthey used to light up orange?

am i just imagining, or is it really lit up? i have extended warranty if its a problem. im sure my i/e did not cause the problem if they say sumthin

this same thing happened to my sister's car. but she drives a sentra. i'm too lazy to find the problem, so does anyone know what the problem could be? i want to know too!

there has to be a light bulb down in there. Otherwise it would not be lit up. Check to see if the bulb is burnt out.

ya there is. I just unplugged it cause its too much lighting everywhere. You can prolly just change the bulb but its hard to get to. center console needs to come off.

okay thanks, i was just wondering....well im doin to auto to manual shift boot thing so i wont need to change the bulb, but if i decide not to ill change it..thanks guys
