idling not constant

there is a similar post like this but i beleve mine is a bit different. the other day after stop at a stop light my car's tach went crazy. it jumped between about 700 and 1500 rpms. it would go up then drop, up then drop. the car was warm and did it every time i stop. or when i released the gas. itn has done this twice. should i try something. or take of my CAI and take it back to the dealer.

How old is your CAI? I mean, how long have you had it on and what model do you have?

Did you reset your ECU after you installed the intake? If not this is how you do it. Make sure your car is warm (normal operating
temperature) and then turn it off. Disconnect the negative terminal from your battery for 10 min. Reattach it and start your car.
DON"T TOUCH ANYTHING! Just let it idle for another 10 min. and it should take care of the problem. If that doesn't work try taking
the fuse out to the ECU and do the same process.

This problem started happening to me recently, and I have the stock intake! Its really starting to **** me off. I need an oil change anyway, so I'll go complain to honda, again.

Check to see if all of the vacuum lines are hooked up or if the have cracks in them. I know that there isn't a whole lot of them but it could be it. If you can't see any signs of damage, pick up some starting fluid and spray around the lines. If the engine revs higher you have a leak. Also in my 89' Integra I had that problem. Actually it was the altenator. Wasn't putting out enough Voltage and would cause the same problem you are talking about. If none of this works definetely take it to your dealer.
