Help! Engine Dies While Driving!
so i'm driving down the road the other day and my battery light came on. i did what it said to do in the owners manual (basically turn everything off except the engine). i take my car to an auto parts store and have them test the battery and the alternator. they said that the battery was about to crap out but the alternator was cool. so i buy a new battery and swap it out right there in the parking lot. now 4 days later my car has trouble starting and when i do get it started my ABS, SRS, MAINT REQ'D, BATTERY, and CHECK ENGINE LIGHT come on. then my car dies!
PLEASE HELP!

sounds like the alternator if you ask me. I would take it back and have them look over it again. Usually when the battery light comes on that means there is a problem in the charging system, and the alternator is where I would look.

Got to be a dead alt. When you put the windows up its takeing all the power away thats why the engine is dieing. Go to a diff store and have them check it (if one is close enough that you can fully charge the battey with a charger and get there)
Or call a garage

Go back to the same place, and have them replace the battery for free. There should be a warranty on it. Most everywhere has a warranty on them. But get an alt. as well
