hood rattle

since about 6 months after I got my car, I have had some hood rattle sometimes when I am idling due to the hood being loose or having too much play... took it to the dealer and they made it better but it started to do it again. I turned those ***** near the fenders a bit higher and now its tighter and doesn't rattle but that seems like bandaid solution. Honda said they won't fix it unless their tech can recreate it when he is driving...

anybody else have this problem?

gangrel138 is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes. Look at the metal that your hood latch plate connects to. If it is warped or cracked and your car is under warranty Honda MUST REPLACE IT. I didn't discover the crack in the metal until it was too late and I had moved to Germany where my American warranty isn't covered. So I gave up on Honda dealerships and got hood pins installed.
