Strut replaced under extended warranty...
Since my 3/36 ended in December, I was a little leery about taking my car into the dealer to find out what had been squeaking so loud from the rear wheels for the last week or so.
Every time I hit a bump, it sounded like an old rusty door hinge. I figured it was bushings or something similar, but it turned out that the left rear strut was blown. The service advisor said it was covered under my extended warranty (HondaCare) with zero deductible, and I would get a rental car free.
It's quiet again, and the ride is much improved -- I sort of noticed the rear end was a little squirrely over bumps before, but it's nice and settled now. What a difference.
Thank God I got the warranty!
