Question Shaking Brake Pedal

I went and put a new battery in my father-in-laws 98 Civic HX today and I took it for a drive around the block and I noticed when I apply the brake it feels like when you have bent rim on a bicycle. The pedal was going in and out. What do you guys think???? Rotors??? Calipers???

That was what I thought. I was thinking of getting him some brembo blanks and some new pads.

ya it sounds like the rotors may be warped.. just go take a look at it and check the pads to see how the wear looks.. good luck!

Its the Rotors for sure, you most likely have to replace em, hopefully not more. Try Midas I if its for your father in law they give you a life tiem waruntee on your pads!

I had the same problem and the dealer gave me the warranty on the problem. They machined my rotors and gave me new pads.
