Engine Light On Code P0113 Help!!!

Hi guys, my check Engine Light goes on after i installed my cold air intake, so I took it to Ammco Tranmission for a Code Scanning, the code is P0113 which it say Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage. I tried to unpluged the battery and leave it for 15 mins, and i even tried to install sock intake but the light still on. Has anybody had that problem before? and how to solve it? thank you so much

did you plug the IAT sensor back in when you installed the intake?

If you did, I can give you the steps from the manual to check it. Most likely it will come down to needing to replace the sensor. But let me know if you even installed it

well most likely you need a new one. But I can tell you how to diagnose it to see what the problem is if you want. You will need a voltmeter for it though.

Also did you plug the connecter into the sensor? Hate to ask, but I have too.

ok disconnect the IAT sensor 2P connecter. Connect the IAT sensor 2P connecter terminals number 1 and number 2 with a jumper wire. This is the wire side of the connecter. Then turn the ignition on. Dont start the car, just turn the ignition on. Now check if 5V is indicated. If not, then you need to replace the IAT sensor.

Otherwise, if there is 5V indicated, then you need to connect a jumper wire between PCM connecter terminal A10 and B17. And with the ignition on, see if there is 5V. If there is, either update your PCM, or see if the problem goes away with a known good PCM. If it does, replace the PCM.

If there isnt 5V indicated, then you have an open between the PCM (A10, B17) and the IAT sensor.

For this you will need either a HDS scan tool or a snap on or other scan tool.

No I have the 2001-2004 honda service manaul. Well from my quote earlier, When I get home later I can give the exact details on what wire is which and the color. I guess for the 2P connecter, I guess it would be the same if you connected a voltmeter to terminal 1 and 2 and see if you had 5 volts, wouldnt it? But which terminal would the negative lead go in and the positive lead go in? I guess it wouldnt matter. I am not to sure on that one. It just said connect 1 and 2 terminal with a jumper wire and read the voltage from a scan tool. Then I guess it would be the same with the PCM. Connect a voltmeter lead to the A10 terminal and one to the B17 terminal and see if you had 5 volts. Or connect a jumper wire on the 2 terminals of the PCM and again read the voltage from the 2P connecter terminal. I am not sure which method would be correct. Correct me if I am wrong koolaidman.

what did you use to see if you had 5 volts? Because if you had jumper wires connected to the 2P connecter, what did you connect to see if you had 5 volts?

If you didnt have any volts, then you need a new IAT sensor.

I used 2 jumper wires to connect the IAT sensor with the 2P connecter then I use the Volt metter to check if i have 5 V or not. First of all i checked its Ohm to make sure that i connected them right and I show me it has some Ohm ( it meant i connect them right). however when i checkec its Volt, i didn't get any Volt. oh yea, I wonder that where is the 5 volt come from? what is the power source for that 5 volt??

you werent supposed to connect the IAT sensor to the 2P connecter with a jumper wire, you were supposed to use one jumper wire and connect the number 1 and number 2 terminal together with the jumper wire.

But on the first one you did, did you use a volt meter, and if so, what did you hook it up to to check for voltage? What exact points?
