go outside and check your tires, when was the last time you changed your oil, is your air filter dirty? only you will know the answer to that. Do some mainanence. Sounds like you dont do any just by asking if your oil needs to be changed.

I bought the car honda certified 3 months ago.

Dont they change the plugs and clean the airfilter?

Also, Ive only put 3000 miles on the car since Ive had it.

The dealership said to change the oil every 5000 miles.

2 questions, what PSI do I put in stockers and would a K and N filter be worth it?

i wanna say its about 45psi. it will say on the side wall of the tires. probably in parenthesis and may be hard to read. it will probably be close to the edge of your rim.

think thats a little high, open the drivers door and on the jam there will be a sticker that will say what it should be.

well i would think as the oil is used longer your going to get some kind of loss in fuel milage relative to the condition of the oil, but that alone wouldn't make you lose that much gas mileage. if your driving inconsistently (maybe on that tank you shifted at an average of 3700rpms instead of 3200) this would also cause more gas to be used because of driving more aggressively. from the time i got my car off the lot to... it's first maintenance visit to honda (in 2 weeks) I've noticed the gas mileage has gone down. I also attribute it to me moving and now having to go through 50 damn stop lights goto work.

The door jam recommends 30/30 I think. The tire psi is only for installing. I run 34/32 usually, as it is better to be a few over than a few under. As for the gas mileage thing, even though its asked almost daliy , don't sweat it. I average about 26-28. I don't believe EPA estimates include drive thrus, warm ups, a heavy right foot, stickier wider tires, etc.
