guys,

i got civic 02, my car door open indicator wont light, still under an extended warranty, but the A**FACE honda here in NJ told me i have to pay $79 (i think) to determine if the problem is covered by the warranty, if its covered my money will be refunded, if not covered my money goes the drain for their labor cheking that piece of light

1. can i kill them??

2. whats the difference bet. a new car warranty & an extended warranty??

3. is that piece of light should be covered??

4. any advice? or advise? (which is correct??)

Um sorry our cars don't have a door open indicator. Do you mean the overhead dome lights? Just replace the bulb or check the fuses.

could be inbetween 4 problems :
1.Light Bulb Burnt out
2.Door Close Sensor is broken
3.Fuse Burnt out
4.Dome light relay burnt out (I believe it's grey Daylight relay in your side kick pannel)
I have same problem my dome lights. they dont turn on when i open the door and I got used to it after while
so dont really care now
