Ok, well today I turned on my engine and got out of the car to put something in my trunk and then when I got back in I turned the ignition again cause I couldn't hear the engine because of the music. It made such a nasty noise... Anyways, do you people know that really affects the engine or anything and ever happen to you?

get a mercedes, you wont ever have to worry about that problem. You can keep turning the key as many times as you want and it wont do anything.

probably some intergrated prevention system. (mercedes do cost a lot). anyways it's fine if you do it a few times but just try to relalya void doing this.

I dont know how it works, but I work there and I have kept turning keys when the car was started and it doesnt make that fuked up noise. Yes, mercedes are expensive, so I guess thats good to have that ****.

like everyone said, if you keep on starting the car when its already on over and over, then you'll kill the starter. worst case scenario (highly unlikely) is the starter will try turning over again when the car is already on and break off some of the "teeth" of the flywheel (thats the spiky gear looking thing of the edges of the flywheel, looks like: ^^^^^^^^). anyways, BMW has the starter prevention thing too.
