noob question..wipers

noob question..wipers

Bought some new wipers today. So then i read my manual on how to take off the wipers, it said to press tab and pull towards base...but it wont come off. can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong??

are these the blingin chrome pepboys or autozone ones? if so, there is one one step required for install:

1. toss them in the garbage cause you wasted your money on a piece of crap.

Dont care what they can do just that they look good on my car (blue)....
So if anyone can tell me how to get the stock wipers off, thanks

Straight from the manual. It says, "Disconnect the blade assembly from the wiper arm by pushing in the lock tab. Hold it in while you push the blade assembly toward the base of the arm. Remove the blade from its holder by grasping the tabbed end of the blade. Pull firmly until the tabs come out of the holder."
