Spoiler and brake lighting
This question may seem like a dumb one, but I'm still asking it anyways
When I purchased the car it didn't have a spoiler and I wanted to change that fact. So eventually when I got the car slightly repainted it was added (oem replica). Recently doing some work with my tail lights (ie changing them to smoke out altezzas) I noticed when replacing everything that my leds on the spoilers weren't working (that and one bulb burnt .. then another).
I went nuts trying to figure out why .. long story short - My spoiler leds light up on braking only if my headlights are in off position.
- Is this normal?
- For those with aftermarket spoilers, where did you/they splice into the wires?
^- I'm guessing with my wires coming out of the passenger right-most lights is that it isn't getting enough juice (with the lights already being on for visiblity).. maybe I'm wrong.
hopefully someone out there now try giving me an easy solution .. because this situation disturbs me.

I had a similar problem, originally, I had my cabin brake light and spoiler light working, then 1 by one, those little LEDs went bye bye. Now none of them work.... but I dont care anymore. The damn screws are also rusted and water got into the LED area of the spoiler... but...... I dont care anymore.
here, I took a picture for you.
Maybe this will help. I don't use my rear deck brake light. I guess you could, but I just keep it unhooked. I really don't think the LED on the spoiler, plus the brake lights, PLUS the rear deck brake light are needed.
Let me know if this pic helps.
