Need help...Engine spuddering, CEL on.

Last night I pulled in to the gas staion to get gas, it wasnt terribly low, but the gas light was on, anyway the engine started spuddering, I was like WTF it cant be out of gas. So I fill her up & sure enough it still had 2 gallons on it, i thought it was wierd.

Shen I started back up it was running like ****, the idle was really rough, not low, but rough. I pulled out & noticed that it went away when I gave it gas, & still had good power. Well I just thought it was just a hiccup.

Then I get in to drive home in the morning & the check engine light was on, I was like oh ****. Then I noticed that it started not only idleing rough, but while accelerating it was still spuddering. It still felt strong, but shakey, does that make sense?? So I parked it, & imn driving another car till I can figure this out.

Anyone have any idea WTF is the deal?? I was thinking sparkplugs, fuel filter, air filter, or something like that. But im worried its a sensor, or worse ECU or internal problem.

I really need it this weekend, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Damn...nobody??

Anyway, I found the problem, apparently I fried my plugs due to some slightly hard driving earlier that day. Dropped a new set in & she runs smooth as ever.

The check engine light is still on though, do i have to reset it, ir does it go off on its own??
