So we had a pretty nast storm the other day, I was driving home from my X-Girlfriends (nothing but throuble) and I hit my parents street (I was going to put my car in their garage). On my way down the road I see a small puddle of water running down the streen, the area has never flooded in my entire life; infact the area is pretty much flat. So I hit it, the water is about two feet deep and up to my knees. My car jerks, motor seizes done... so of course I push it out of "river" until the next mourning, I go to fire it up and nothing so I push it down the road to my parents get it in the garage drain all the water out of my throttle body, intake, oil pan, spark plugs, etc... car still won't fire. I test the car for spark and there is no spark even! Then I notice that everytime I start my car the computer resets itself (radio looses time and odometer goes to default from trip). So I put the car back to stock as much as possible and am waiting for the flat bed now. Damges are carpet, motor, electronics, and front bumper... it's a 2003 Civic EX with 40,087 miles on it - think its totalled? I kinda hope it is after I pulled all my aftermarket parts off.

No it's not totalled. Just need to suck up the water out of the engine. BTW, it's not covered by warranty.

Wow, if that was right the car would be running right now and my whole electronic system wouldn't be shoot! Did you even bother reading the post I made? I already sucked out all the water bone dry - even flushed old oil through the block to clean out any other water in there....

Oh, and did I ask if it was covered by warrenty? Haha, my insurance company is covering it - no fault, doesn't effect my rates, and I don't even have to pay my deductable.
