T/O Bearing shot
OK out of the blue today (as all things happen with a 7th gen) I hear the worst sound you could possibly imagine coming from my tranny. When I idle and do not have my foot on the clutch it rattles like a gamuggafugga. When I put my foot on the clutch or am driving it goes away completly. Sounds like something is in there...now i dont believe anything would just decide to hop in my tranny...or out of my tranny for that matter. My question is "could this be the t/o bearing" could it just go out like that. If anyone has had this problem i would greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanx

it could be your t/o bearing, or another bearing. i have to have my bearing's in my car changed cuzz i poped some of them. its going to run me about 700 to get it fixed.
but if it stops when u push in ur clutch then its most likely ur t/o bearing.
