top of windshield rubber gapping. anyone seen this?
Here are some bad pictures of what is happening to the top of my windshield. It's right where it meets the roof basically.
Sorry the pics are bad and dark, but I wanted to get them online tonight to see what people think. Anyone have this?
Think honda would do anything about it?

damn mine is doing the same thing. Only in one spot though. Have you had the windshield replaced? Only thing I can think of is to have the molding replaced.

Really? You have it too huh.... hmmm. I've never had anything replaced. Car body is completely stock, no accidents. Mine is just in one spot. I just took a few pics from different angles.
Have you taken it to honda ever? I just don't want it worse. My warranty will be up in lik 6 months probably.

I have never tooken it to honda. It isnt a big deal to me. And nothing leaks so I just leave it. Most likely they wont warranty it because it is probably something only covered under the 30 day warranty if anything. If it gets worse just go to any windshield installer (auto glass place) and they will give you a new one and install it. Shouldnt be much. Probably cheaper then the dealer.
I actually have an 04 and it did the same, I folded it back and put masking tape on it and left it out in the sun...stayed down perfectly. Then I found myself to be the problem when I was washing my car. I accidentally kept lifting parts of that molding up when I was scrubbing with the sponge...couldn't believe it...try the masking tape...

Its a double weather seal. Just flip it back down. Thats all you have to do, thats all you can do, its not supposed to be glued down.
