hey guys i need your help i just bought this civic 01 ex coupe. I got it used and it has no warranty. i have all these little things that are wrong. My gas pedal (MT) gets stuck up when i don't drive it for a day. when you press it down alittle harder it makes a pop and it works fine...does anyone know why its doing it????also my clutch makes little noise some times not like a squeak but sometimes alittle click. some times when you push all the way down it makes like a thump like a sound in the back of the car like a door closing but from another car. i dont know how to explain its like your in your car and you hear the car next to you close their door.... i need your help guys.

For the gas pedal, try and lube the part that pushes in. It may also be a sticky or damaged throttle cable under the hood. Go inspect it to be sure. It's right where the airbox goes to the engine (where the air filter is).

my only question is why did you buy a car with no warranty? Now you are fuked. Anything could go wrong soon and you have to pay it all yourself. You should have just bought a $50,000 car, cause you probably will end up spending that much on repairs.

Try cleaning out the throttle body. Take some throttle body cleaner spray it on a rag and wipe out all the carbon out of the throttle body. Youll probably find that you have alot of carbon around the throttle plate. Then after you get all the carbon out of it spray a lubricant like pb blaster or like wd40 on the walls and mostly the part where the shaft goes into the throttle body.
