having a small problem with the car

I just wanted to know if anybody knew what is going on when Im just sitting at a light or something like that and my car just starts to shake it feels like it might die but I never does. Also if my intake is touch my hood would that cause it to do that at all probley not. Im thinking maybe the ground wire is f'ed otherwise I have no clue.

if you added an aftermarket intake either you need to check the air flow sensor or you could have knocked the TPS out of calibration and thus would need to be re-calibrated.

It's a know problem with our cars . . . mine used to do it fairly often . . . I'd be sitting at a light at idle and it'd start feeling like I was driving a paint shaker. It stopped by itself, but I'm not sure if there's an offical explaination.

What year and trim do you have? Auto or stick?

Im not necessarily sure it is from the cold air but I can't remember the first time I felt it if it was before or after the cold air. But I bought my cold air soon after I got my car. My car is a LX and it is a stick for whoever asked.

Several other people in the past have had this problem. Do a search for "stall" or "rough idle" .
