well

The thing is....I already searched the forum and found that post before I ever asked the question. I tried all of those things and it will just come back on. My car is 100% stock. It just hit 60000 miles so does that light come on automatically or did I screw something up by not changing the oil for so long????

It has nothing to do with the oil. The lite is set to come on at certain intervals, 60,000 is one of them. Did you hold it in, then turn the key on all the way but not start and wait till it goes out? if you did and it came back on later, It could be a number of things. Take it to a mechanic.

1) it is in your manual and if you can't read and understand that, take it to a mechanic who won't mess up your car
2) Use the Advanced Search Function and search for +maintenance +required. It will show you ALL the locked threads in the past.
