Hey everyone, for the past two months my check engine light has been on and off. You all will probably just say that I should take it in to honda, but I haven't had time lately. Basically, when the light first came on, I took it to autozone, got the code setting off the light, and found out that it was an evaporation leak in my fuel system. Since its wasn't my engine, I hesitated on taking it to honda right away. Basically, since this started happening, the light has been going on and off. When the light is on and I open the gas cap when im refilling, I can't hear any fumes escape. When the light goes off and I am refilling, I can hear the fumes escape when opening the cap. This is a constant thing. I have also replaced the cap thinking that the original went bad, but that didn't work. Has anyone had that problem before? What specifically is leaking?
