Got rear ended

I got rear ended the other day....Looks like I need a new rear bumper for a sedan.

Any idea what they cost, parts/labor? I'm gonna have a shop do it and the guy's insurance should cover it, I'm just curious.

I got an estimate today, $1,150. This is for the bumper cover, paint, bumper and all clips/emblems/etc.

Make sure they quote a new bumper from Honda and not a used or 3rd party one.

Look inside your trunk and make sure you dont have any holes. if you have any holes they should be where the car jack goes. for some reason honda puts some kind of glue to hole the trunk together and if hit hard enough you can bust a hole in the trunk floor. I got hit pretty bad myself and didnt notice it till i dynamated my trunk big *** hole. could that have been my car's stink star?.......check it out

Nope, no hole there. A lot of patching compound though (from the factory I assume).

Now I just gotta hope this guy's insurance doesn't make my life hell.
