I want to center my steering wheel, can I just remove the 2 screws and slide the module out but keep it connected while I remove the lug to the wheel? Will it blow up?? I had a wheel alignment 4 times and my wheel is to the right, I just want to put it back to the center. I know it can be done as per the posts but has anyone just left it plugged in while doing such a taks?

I'm not so sure that the steering wheel can be adjusted that easily. The alignment shop should have fixed that for you. If they didn't, then they didn't do the job right.
