Well someone here had a new header with stock exhaust and it didn't sound any different. Most of the bolt on mods for our cars don't really do much anyway.

If you are getting a custom cat-back, 2.25 inch piping would be the best. with the header, you wont notice much of a difference in sound, or performance. Any header will work, DC sports, OBX, and header made for our car.

He has a dx so he would have to make mods to the exhaust and sway bar with all those, because they are made for the ex. Kamakazi makes a header for the LX/DX, the only thing is since your cat is in your header you will have to get it custom installed into your exhaust piping. Also use 2.25" piping. Then use the search button, and post in the right forum (this belongs in Other Products and parts)
