headlight fogging

Angry headlight fogging

okay! i'm about to loose my f**king mind! about 3 months ago i bought some blk projector headlights for my vic . well, this past 2 weeks the passenger side light keeps on fogging up so i go outside w/ a blow dryer and de-fog it well right after i get done de-fogging i go for a lil joy ride. not even 30 sec later it fogs right back up ! this jus drives me crazy! it makes me wanna rip it out and smash the **** out of it!! can anyone pleeaassee tell me how to solve this problem or jus minimze it so i dont have to break out w/ the blowdryer all the time!!

well, dont feel bad, mine do it too, most aftermarket headlights do it. What you can do is take off your headlights and put sealent around them, it might help. Otherwise you could buy new ones.

My TYC's have never fogged at all. My friends Halo's are fogging alot now though. The guy that owned them before changed something in them to make them brighter and fixed the metled Halo ring as well. Lately they've been fogging but it's only because the bulbs were put back in wrong when they were changed.

Basically most headlights fog, some people have the problem, while others dont, there isnt much you can do, try re-sealing them, that most likely will help.

^^yah just try resealing them.....thats what i'll be doing when it gets warmer out....my don't do it to often....just for two days after i was it then its fine

A lot of people just don't open the breathing holes for their headlights which are located inside some rubber pipes on the back of the headlight. Unseal these and re-inforce the seal on the outter edges of the headlight.

You need to take your headlight apart (read diys), clean + dry them, and re-seal them tightly. mine was fogging like hell but it was because the cealing thingi went bad and moisture went in. dont bother dryblowing it, cause it will fog up again and again and again and again and ...
