Steering wheel lock?

Anyone have had a problem with their steering wheel not locking when you take your key out of the ignition? Im bringing in my car to Honda tomorrow and they said if its a faulty part with no apparent damage or abuse to the ignition it will be covered under the warranty.

Do you mean you can turn the steering wheel all the way to one side (i.e., 2.5 full turns) without having it lock, after you take the key out?

yup das correct Ronin. I brought my car in today to have that checked out and have my clutch twang sound thing fixed. Just waiting for them to call back. They said if there is a faulty part with the steering wheel lock the part and labor is covered under warranty, if not its a $99.94 to diagnose the problem and THEN the X amt for the part and labor. Only reason it wouldnt be under warranty is if someone tried to break the steering column or tamper with it. But i dont think anyone broke in my car and tried to steal it. So im hoping its under the warranty still cuz that's a whole lot of money jus for something minor.
