Im havin Problems

Ok long story. i have a STOCK 2002 LX coupe in NOV. 03 she was workin fine after the $3500 tranny rebuild. then my cd player got jacked they cut the dam connector! I figured out how to fix the lights in the dash so i drove around w/out a radio for a couple of weeks i finally got a new radio and installed it all worked fine then my whole car got stolen ... a week later the cops found her in the parkinglot of a hotel without my new cdplayer!!! my insurance sent her to a bodyshop where she got a (1) new KEY and new sunvisors from there she went straight to hond for alignment and a oilchange ok heres the prob i got her back and the door locks only work when the car is on ? i didnt really bother me cause i alwayz had someone in the car well i got all my insurance money and got a sony cdplayer i had to run a wire from the security fuse (allways on) for backup power to the radio cause the original wire was messed up, I installed it and she was workin fine except the locks the other night i was drivin home and i looked at the speedo and it was dark WTF so i checked all the wires behind the cdplayer - all fine dash lights still wouldnt work i need to see how fast im going so i hooked up the illumination wire to the radio power-so when the car is on the dash lights and the small lights above the headlights are on -- better than getting a ticket the manual got jacked so i dont kno which fuses are which

i know its a long story but im venting

Whats Goin On? pleaze help

dude, that sucks. a buddy of mine (when i was a jarhead) left his keys in his car and it got stolen, that's why you don't drive home from a bar. ten months later some car impound lot in the next county (savannah is on I-95 heading toward florida) calls and says he owes $5000 in storage fees, and they are going to sell his car. turns out the clutch on this pos jetta burned out oin I-95 as the theives drove it awawy, and they ditched it. long story short, my buddy tried suing the savannah police for not informing him the car was found (didn't work), and wound up declaring bankruptcy to get out of paying the impound guy. but it's all good now, he gets paid to travel the world as a pro scuba diver.

by the way, why did you have to get your tranny replaced? and it was $3500, WTF?

Check all your fuses, alot of them will be labelled. Oh yeah, and a lot people found that the "Backup" fuse is usually the problem. How did your car get stolen by the way?

^^^^ Nod, back-up fuse is in the engine compartment and should take care of the door lock issue.

sounds like my issues with my car but there talkin bout replacin all the stuff with the transmission but i have 64,000 miles on my 2001 civic, but ya back in october someone broke into my car broke all the fuses stole the whole center console so i didnt have any turn signals, then they went under the hood and clipped all of my alarm wires but luckily they didnt cut the battery wire or the wire that lets me unlock the door with the alarm button so it just flashes the blue lights that i have

ahh people that steal cars or break into aggrevate me totally
