help please

okay guys i need some help. and b4 i get to the problem please do not flame on me, if u feel the urge to flame just hold it back. okay heres my prob: whenever i put my car in reverse (its an auto) it makes a weird knocking type noise coming from the passenger side. the thing about it is, it only does it when its in reverse and i first turn the car on and when the AC is on. if any1 knows what it is or could be related to please help. thanks in advance

^^^ that has nothing to do with it. if theres something wrong with the transmission then using your parking brakes will not solve anything. just get it checked out at the dealer if you still have a warrenty.

Check your motor mounts, and exhaust pipe. The engine is tilting, AND under load. That's my best guess by your description. Remember, when in reverse, the engine tilts in the opposite direction from normal. I'd bet something is tapping on the body at that time.
