Clutch pedal or linkage creaking.
When I depress and then release my clutch pedal slowly, I hear this creaking noise and feel a slight stickiness to the pedal. It gets VERY bad after highway driving. (maybe because it heats up) I took it to the dealer under warranty, and they lubed the linkage with some kind of Silicon grease. That didn't do a damn thing. It sounds as if the its copming from the other side of the firewall. Any one know whats going on?
Been discussed many times before.
Yes, it's coming from the other side of firewall... to be more specific, it's caused by the clutch throwout bearing. It's nothing serious, just needs to be properly lubed with thick grease. You can take it back and ask them to lube that specific part. Personally, I just live with it.
Search for clutch, squeak, noise, etc and you'll find a lot more info on this.
