noise coming from engine

Just recently my car started making a weird noise when i let off the clutch. Its when i start off in first gear and occasionally when i shift to second. It sounds like something is knocking together. Could it be an engine mount? Transmission problem? CV joints? Oh yea i lifted my car up and put it in gear, when i spin one wheel there is a click and the other wheel starts spinning opposite(normal) but it kind of pauses then clicks before the other wheel starts spinning. I dunno maybe thats normal but i would appreciate some input. I have it dropped with neuspeed race, injen cai, custom exhaust, velox 17 x 7, thanks for any input

Check the front engine mount first. People who always do fast launches will have engine mount issues..

Hey guys, I had the same problem a couple weeks. I called around to alot of shops and they said it could be several things: intake manifold, throttle cable, engine mounts, throwout bearing or other transmission problems. I wasn't about to spend 600 bucks to fix it so I played around with my sri intake. I took it off and reinstalled it then i reset the computer and let the car run for 45 min and the problem was solved. I came to the conclusion that people say to take out the fuse that controls the computer when you install an intake, i did that and still had the problem. So instead of taking the fuse out a second time I just disconnected the battery for 20 min and then hooked it back up and let the car run for 45 min to reset the computer (others say you only have to let it run for 15 min but I wanted to try longer). So try this method before you take it to a shop, it may save you hundreds of dollars. If it doesn't work then you more then likely have a physical problem somewhere and need to get it fixed as soon as possible. Hope this helps some of you.
