My Windsheild Is Cracked!!!

argh..so i come out from my g.f's house yesterday and get in my car and there is a crack in my windshield. its almost 6 inches, maybe 7 inches long, and extends from the weather stripping on the drivers side horizontally out. it sucks...its like right in front of my eyes. i was so pissed...i had no idea what happened. I'm pretty sure its not a rock or anything like that because there was no impact mark or anything...its literally just a crack. sooo...i called my honda dealer and asked if it was warrantied...they said they had to look at it first. i'm takin it down there today after work and just prayin that its covered. anyone know how much a new windsheild costs for an 02 Si?

Should be...Sometimes there is a deductible...I have always carried full glass coverage. I hate cracked windshields.

If its not covered, goto the glass company. Ask them how much it would be if you went threw the insurence company, get a uote and what not. Then at the end ask them how much would it be if you paid they cash on the spot when finished. Sometimes, the place will give you a different price. Only sometimes though. Its worth a shot if it costs less than the deductable.

went to honda on friday, they said it will be covered since they found no point of impact or any chips or anything. it was just the scratch.

sucks tho cuz i dont know when the glass will come in, and its like over a foot and a half long now (4 inches when i first saw it). oh well
