Door protection crap

I've had my car for a little over a year and this teal blue (doesn't match my dark blue car) door guard stuff is beginning to bug me. It looks extremely ugly. It's on all my doors and fenders and doesn't even match. I don't know how to take it off. I pulled on the top of it a little bit and it just seems to be superglued directly to my paint. Should I just pull and then find some paint-safe "goo-gone" or something to take the resedue (sp?) off?

It's glued on. Just pull them off and use Meguiar's clear coat body scrub to remove any scuff marks and residue.
