Help need your advice, problems with car and Honda

Ok So here’s quick synopsis of what I have had to deal with

Jan 2003 I got a new 2003 civic coupe

Every since I have had it I noticed water in the trunk but ignored it because I thought maybe windshield washer fluid, car wash soap, or whatever I had in my trunk spilled.

Water ended up coming in when it rained, but I was unable to locate where it was coming from.

September 2003

Brought car to Honda mechanic looked at it said it was probably seal around taillight
Honda orders seal

October 2003

Car goes in for service, change oil, rotate tires, fix front seat, and replace seal

I get the car back and notice my tires where not rotated and they charged me for it.
Also trunk still leaks

October 2003-November 2003

Car goes back to get tires rotated and leak fixed. Car sent to body shop to have a body seam sealed. “Honda said they took the rear quarter panel off to seal and fixed leak.”
The car was at the body shop for a week, I went to go pick it up and my car was hit at Honda. Honda paid for repairs, sent it to the body shop again, that took another week.
To make up for it Honda gave me my 15000-mile service for free.

November 2003

I was working on my car and decided to see if they actually did any of the work, and they never changed my air filter. I brought the car back and had the service manager change it in front of me.

Tonight it’s raining, and there is water in my trunk again.

Now what do I do, I don’t trust my Honda dealer, and does the lemon law apply is it to late?

i dont think its too late for the lemon law, that is if it applies to this because your car is still under warranty. if i were you i'd go to Honda and confront them with this. and when you do this dont be happy or nice about it. tell them about all the BS they put you through, and demand that something be done. then, if they try to BS you again, tell them you'll call the corporate office and complain about their dealer. usually if you start complaining to the big boss, they get serious about stuff because they wont get like bonuses and stuff.

If this all happened at the same dealer, I would get American Honda involved and report this dealer to your local BBB. Try to get American Honda to set you up with another dealer nearby.

Charging customers for service that was never done goes beyond just plain ignorance and incompetence ... that's a blatant effort to rip off customers on the part of this dealer.

It has to be 3 times, or are there exceptions. The thing is I’m leasing the car but I plan on buying it when the lease is up, but I don’t want to buy a car that is going to have water damage. Also if they fix it and I don’t get water in the trunk what if I still get water in the body seams is it going to rust? That’s where they said it was coming from and they said they fixed it in was a rear body seam

well, just complain again like we said and contact Honda HQ. i'm not sure if you could get a new car for something like this, but if you plan on buying the car down the road, i'd get this thing fixed now before there is gonna be any damage or rust.
