Anyone ever hear a high pitch whine coming from their windshield area? Here's my problem. When I'm going down the highway at 65+ mph, I hear this very high pitch sound coming from somewhere's around the windshield. The faster I go, the louder it gets and even sometimes sounds like two individual tones. It also occurs at slower speeds (50+ mph) if it is particularly windy out.

I'm taking it in on Saturday to have them take a look at it, but since it only occurs at high speed, I'm not sure they will take it out to the highway (which is quite a bit aways) and go zooming at 70 mph. I just want to give them an idea of what to check.

if it is only when you have your windows open that is normal, it is the seatbelt....but.....as for the windshield, it could be your windshield wipers......thats all I can think of that would make a noise like that, the wind going through your windshield wipers.

Hey i have the same high pitch whine when driving on the highway at 120kph, , it sounds like it's coming from the windshiled part. But no clue. Maybe some plastic on the wiper area just messing up the aerodynamics on the windshield part

do you have a system? could it be alternator whine?
