My Horror Weekend

i was crusin on the 401 East towards Missisauga when my hood flew open smashin my ****ing windshield and denting my roof. my sun visor fell in my lap my mirror and my pillers are hanging off, **** i have so much bad luck :S

no it was a OEM i'd like to get a CF hood now though but whatever as long as it fixed thats all i care about ill get a CF later

How the heck can the hood just fly open? Even when you pop the hood, there is still a safety latch that's strong enough to keep the hood closed at almost any speed.

Any of your mods cause it, or was your lock mechanism just totally defective?

Yeah, have Honda take care of that.

My dad used to work in auto body a long time ago, he said he worked on a Jag that happened to once. He said the damage to the roof from the hood smacking it was pretty substantial.
