Slipping Clutch

Don't know if this is normal becuase this is my first manual car, but when I hit little bumps, dips, flat railroad tracks (stuff that's not hard on my suspension), my clutch seems to slip while in gear at high rpm's. It's kind of hard to explain. Any thoughts or experiences?

Are you sure the dips aren't causing a wheel to come up a little to freely spin? You can tell if that's the problem, because RPMs will go a little higher, but immediately drop back to normal after the bump. If the clutch was slipping, they would go up, level off, and drop back down... pretty much in a smooth motion.
