quick background: I got in an accident in early february after losing control of my car. For anyone from Phx, AZ who would know these freeways, I was taking the southbound (right turn interchange ramp) SR51 to westbound I-10 when the car suddenly turned right (while feeling like the back end came out a little bit). I hit a couple of walls in the process and got up to $7,500 in damage to my car, which insurance covered and it was fixed and 31 days later i had my car back.
I continued having some loss of control issues (back end coming out) with my car after getting it back however. These weren't high speed turning situations either, these were low speed standard turns that any vehicle should have made with no problem. I was also hearing a lot of noise coming from the front end of the vehicle. I took it in multiple times with no fault found and then eventually they decided to say that the noise was from the right front strut assembly.
I had to wait almost a week before the part came in and had it repaired, but after replacing that they still heard noise and found that the left front stabilizer link is what was causing the noise. They replaced that as well, all under warranty so no cost to me, but what I want to know is how important is the left front stabilizer link to our cars? My honda dealership is being less than helpful with info on this.
I have noticed that since the part was replaced, my car stays on track with the turn and doesn't mess up at all. I have recreated any times where it had started to lose control before and now its perfectly fine.
So any help with information would be greatly appreciated.

Thats the end-link for the front sway bar. It being broken could explain your oversteer problems.
Basically it holds the sway bar, which is a large spring that keeps the wheels planted on the road. when you were taking corners, and that bar wasn't fully tied down, then one of the front wheels was probably starting to lift up... which probably caused you to lose it.

Yeah, my only problem is that I have no way to prove it was broken before the accident. The body shop didn't find anything wrong originally, but i don't think they looked hard enough and then the honda dealer (which is owned by the same company that owns the body shop) i go to for service took a few tries to find it. It just kind of interesting that my loss of control issues would go away after these parts were replaced. My only proof that it had somehting to do with the accident is that my car is performing normally now and before it didn't.

I'm developing a set of stronger end links for our cars. For more information, check out this thread: Custom End Links *Update*
