Hello, I'm new to the forum and I'm desperately looking for some guidance. I've got a Honda Civic 8th Gen Hatchback (1.8 L), not quite sure of the specific model but the VIN number is: SHHFK2860BU012833, I've included a picture of my car just in case.
Prior to explaining the problem I'd like to mention that I've made a few modifications to the car: I've installed an infotainment system along with a reverse camera and later on, I've installed a front and rear remote controlled cameras.
Every modification was done in a shop.
Now to get to the point, after some time driving I started noticing that the infotainment system doesn't always turn on when I start the car, sometimes it takes a short drive to suddenly power on (I hear a relay-like click and it turns on) and sometimes it can take a long drive before suddenly powering on. That didn't bother me much until I started to experience problems with the mirror folding mechanism. There are times when I try to open or close the side mirrors and they won't turn completely. Most of the time only one of the mirrors folds fine but both mirrors don't fold properly and sometimes they just won't open or close at all. Another thing that I noticed is that whenever I try to fold the mirrors while the A/C is working, while the mirrors fold the A/C loses some of its power (I can hear the A/C working quieter) and the little green LED indicator next to the air circulation buttun turns off.
Also, when pressing the rear defrost button, it starts clicking and toggling on and off rapidly.
It's as if some things that shouldn't have any relation, are somehow interconnected.
If you've got any suggestions, I'll be more than glad to hear them.
Thank you!
