How to dim side mirrors ?

I can dim my rearview mirror in my car but sideview mirrors still getting that bright, blinding, annoying light from cars behind me when I drive in the dark. Is there is any solution to this problem? I was thinking maybe there is some dimming sticky clear film you can apply on your side mirrors that dims side mirrors in the dark? Something like that available out there? Thanks.

Thanks. But I don't wanna change mirrors. Just some above mantioned film or some temporary covers you put at night or something along those lines. You know an easy solution. I'm still wondering how something like that hasn't been invented yet ???

you could get night time driving glasses. they are slightly tinted yellow so it filters the headlights from behind.

tint your side mirrors...any tint shop can do it or DIY.

i did mine myself back in the day with red tint. it really easy and if you dont like it you can just peel it off. check out my memeber pics to see mine.

Thanks for you help dudes! I thought about tinting, but wouldn't it totally make other car's lights invisible in the dark? I'm kinda affraid to go with it safetywise, but I think I will anyway, cause I'm tired of all that blinding.

P.S. The other night this big full-size van Chevy Express was driving behind in the left and i was in the right lane. Sure enough his headlights beamed in my side mirrors. But guess what they didn't blind me at all !!!!!!!!!! The light was so smooth and soft I couldn't belive it !!! It was amazing how good his lights were!! I started staring in my side mirror on porpouse to see if I'm gonna get blind at some point but it never happened! It was first big car in my life that didn't blind me one little bit. It was one happy moment. I only wish every big car had such amazing headlights. He also had separated rear lights, kinda like european. And he was using his car like intended with big boat on the roof.
