06 Civic oil/brake light
06 Civic oil/brake light
My daughter has a 2006 civic and on the 3 different occasions over the past week or so when she has come to a stop at stop light the oil and brake light have come. Then when she goes to take off nothing happens when she tries to accelerate. She then shuts it off and turns it back on and everything is fine. Just had an oil change so it is not low on oil and the alternator is about a year old. No check engine light and the only think I notice when I drive is a little hesitation when starting to accelerate. Any suggestions on what I should check?

Re: 06 Civic oil/brake light
Just because you had a recent oil change doesn't mean that the oil isnt low. Check brake fluid check trans fluid. Check if the alternator is charging properly, especially if it's an aftermarket alternator
