Civic 2014 died - for a second
The wife reports a problem with her car today.
2014 Civic EX, 5 speed Manual, one-owner, 75,500 miles
She reports driving on the freeway when there was a sudden jerk, engine died, the dash went black (speedo etc.), then one second later engine started, dash came to life, and everything was normal.
Wow.
I suppose this is electrical issue. Guess I'll wait for it to happen again.
Recent background:
The battery was replaced 6 weeks ago. No problems with the replacement. Battery cables are tight.
Drained and refilled radiator with Honda coolant 4 weeks ago. No problems to report with the radiator or cooling of the engine.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Civic 2014 died - for a second
A little more info after quizzing my wife for details. She was traveling on a straight stretch of freeway at about 70 mph. It all happened very fast, probably less than 1 second.
After reading about other reports on the 2014 Civic, I'm leaning toward an intermittent ECU.
