Hello!

Help! My brake light won't turn on on the right side when braking, but lights up when I turn the lights on just when braking it won't trigger it.

I think it's a blown fuse but I have no idea how to change it or maybe it could be something else.

Probably just a bad bulb. It has 2 elements which it why it works with the headlights but won't light up when braking.

Interesting, maybe I'll swap the left and right and see how it goes. If it's like what you said do you know what light bulb I should get for replacement?

It's probably a 7443 but when you pull it out it will say on the bulb somewhere or you can look it up on sylvania's website. I'd just replace both sides.

When you pull the bulb out look at the filaments inside. Usually you can tell when one is broken.

Yup turns out one of the conducting wire was burnt. Put a new one in and done!
