Rep Power: 0 2007 Honda Civic LX Brake Issue
Hello friends,
I can't seem to understand the problem with my 2007 Civic LX. When I unlock my car I see both brake lights go on perfectly but today my coworker tells me my right brake light is out. Any solutions on how to fix this problem?

Are you sure you are looking at the brake light and not the mark light?
The lights will light up red then the ignition is on or in your case the alarm system unlocked; but the brake lights are a turn on brighter when the brake is depressed.
Get someone to step on the brake so you can see which one is out, it's probably a single bulb with dual filaments.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Not the brake lights.
Outer brake and rear park lights share the same bulbs, two separate light filaments inside the same glass.
Probably need to replace the one that's out....and I'd suggest you change the other side as well because it's probably the same age.
Make sure the center brake light works as well. Good time to change it if it's never been replaced.
