Odd Noise from Suspension which disappears when driving
Odd Noise from Suspension which disappears when driving
Hello,
I have a 2008 1.8 Vtec Civic Type S, 3 door.
Last few weeks i've noticed a creaking coming what feels like what must be the suspension. The noise is only there if I haven't driven the car for a few days and it goes away within about a minute of driving, doesn't happen over bumps or round corners. If i haven't driven it for a few days and push down on the boot it creaks. As I said, it only happens when the car has been sat for a few days, if I drive it say Monday, it won't happen tuesday etc...
Someone has suggested maybe it's the suspension on it's last legs but then why would it stop once I'm driving??
Any help appreciate.
Thanks

Re: Odd Noise from Suspension which disappears when driving
Suspension might have some surface rust that gets wiped off after driving the car for a bit making the noise go away.
